BIO:

Asma Abousrafa is a chemical engineering master's student at Texas A&M University at Qatar. She received their undergraduate chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M University at Qatar in 2021 and continued her Master's studies at the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center at Texas A&M University at Qatar under the supervision of Dr. Luc Véchot. Asma has started her research on the topic of combustible dust explosions and is currently working on validations and improvement of a model for the prediction of sulfur dust ignition and explosion properties.
