AUTHOR INFORMATION

 

IMPORTANT REMARKS FOR CAMERA READY PAPER SUBMISSION

 

Manuscripts must be submitted in electronic form only. The accepted electronic file format is Portable Document Format (PDF).

Note that the paper will be included in the conference proceedings only if "The manuscript is compliant with the paper formatting rules (see below)

To submit the manuscript version of your paper, please go to the URL provided, using login and password.

 

GUIDELINES FOR CAMERA READY PAPER SUBMISSION

 

Prepare your manuscript with a word processor, using the following formatting indications:

- The page format must be A4 (21.0 cm × 29.7 cm);

- Limit total length of the paper to five pages. However papers up to 8 pages are allowed subject to an over length page fee.

- Set left and right margins to 1.5 cm

- Set top margin to 2.5 cm, and bottom margin to 4.0 cm;

- Do not place anything outside the above margins;

- Use two 8.6 cm width columns per page, with a 0.8 cm spacing between them;

- The paper must be typed using single spacing;

- Use Times New Roman or Times Roman font, and all text (except the title) must be 10pt;

- Title must be 12pt, bold, all caps;

- Author's names, in bold, follow after a blank line;

- Author's affiliations follow after a blank line;

- Title, author's names and affiliations must be page-centred, taking the width of the two columns;

- Use capitals for section titles, and italics for subsection title;

- Figures, tables and equations must have separate sequential numbering;

- Captions must be centred, and placed above tables and underneath figures;

- Embed all tables, charts, figures and images within the text;

- Do not number pages, and do not use footnotes.

NOTES:

- Do not use the Adobe Acrobat PDFWriter to generate the PDF file. Use the Adobe Acrobat Distiller instead, which is contained in the same package as the Acrobat PDFWriter.

- Make sure that you have used Type 1 or True Type Fonts (check with the Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Writer by clicking on File>Document Properties>Fonts to see the list of fonts and their type used in the PDF document).

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPEAKERS

 

We would like to call the attention of oral presenters to the following items:

- Be at the room of your session 15 minutes before it begins, so that you can meet your session chairs and the other speakers in advance.

- Please download the CV form (click here to download or ), fill it in and hand it to the session chair before the session begins. In case you have not done this in advance, please ask for a CV form at the secretariat during the conference.

- It is most important to be within strict time constraints to allow the presentations to fit within the allotted time periods. Each paper has a time slot of 20 minutes, 17 of which for the presentation, and the remaining 3 for questions and discussion. The session chairman will rigorously enforce these time limits.

- Video projectors, as well as laptops, will be available in all conference rooms.

  Other equipment, if available, will be provided at your expenses if your request it.

- Presenters may use their own laptops. Laptops available at the rooms run WindowsXP operating system, and have PowerPoint Office XP installed. If this option is selected, presenters should bring their compatible presentation files stored in a CD- ROM or a 3.5" disk. In both cases, presenters are requested to test the functionality of the presentation before the beginning of the session.
