Jordan is bounded in the north by Syria, east by Iraq, south-east and south by Saudi Arabia and west by Palestine. It has an outlet to an arm of the Red sea at Aqaba.

Capital: Amman is the capital and largest city of Jordan.

Geography: The area of Jordan is 89,556 sq km (34,578 sq mi).
